Activities

Activities are varied yet structured. Relevant and interesting academic field trips throughout the year provide experiential education. Wednesday afternoon activities reinforce the school theme. At times a choice is available and at other times the emphasis is on students participating in common experiences.

Evening activities vary depending on season and student interest. In the fall and spring there are games of pick-up soccer, basketball, wiffle ball, and lacrosse games. Boys enjoy bike riding, skate boarding, fishing, and hiking too. In the winter sledding or skating provide students a chance for some outdoor time to play and be social. Movie nights, special trips, and dorm parties enhance the residential experience.

Weekends offer students opportunities to try new things. Outings to climbing centers, museums, concerts, skating rinks, local festivals, and sporting events highlight some of the weekend destinations. All weekend days are structured and well supervised.
