Linden Hill School Receives $100,000 Challenge Grant

2/10/2010

The nation’s oldest junior boarding school for boys with learning differences has received a $100,000 challenge grant from two generous donors that aims to increase participation from alumni, parents, families and friends by matching gifts on a 1:1, 2:1 and 3:1 basis during the Spring of 2010.

Funded by a current and a former Linden Hill School trustee, the challenge will triple (3:1) any new gifts to the School, up to $5,000, including those who have not made a gift to the School during the past 3 years. Renewed gifts will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $5,000), and any increase of a renewed gift to the School will be doubled (2:1).

All of us at Linden Hill are extremely grateful for the generous support of these two benefactors,” said Headmaster Jim McDaniel. “They continue to play a monumental role in helping improve the lives of our students and their families.”

We are happy to support a school that really does make a difference in the lives of young boys and their families,” said one of the donors. “For almost 50 years, Linden Hill has led the way in developing programs that help with the education of boys with learning differences. “We are proud to support such a fine school.”
