The Lynx were in fine form and showed superior sportsmanship during a heartbreaking loss to Valley View in the finals of the Linden Hill Basketball Tournament. With some rough play the Lynx kept their cool, leading the game at the half.

Valley View rallied in the second half and Linden Hill countered but in the final seconds with two Lynx fouled to the bench Valley View took the lead. With a final score of 47 to 43 the Lynx showed their great determination. Pride exuded from everyone in the stands. Great lessons were learned on and off the court. A Headmaster from a participating school phoned Mr. McDaniel to remark on the superior sportsmanship and support their team felt from ours! A better compliment could not be given! Congratulations Lynx on a great season
