In no time, the campus was covered in almost two feet of gleaming white powder transforming the grounds into a majestic winter wonderland.

One of the youngest Duplex boys from Bermuda who had never seen snow could not stop saying, "wow." Even the most seasoned New Englanders were awed by the heavy storm so early in the year. Apparently, Mr. Fontaine heard that this was the biggest October storm since the Civil War.

Despite having the JV soccer tournament canceled, LHS students were incredibly accommodating to the changes in the weekend schedule. The boys enjoyed the alternative arrangements of bowling, sledding, and playing in the snow.

Due to the weather conditions and power outages, the residential staff also surprised the boarders with an impromptu Halloween party. The community played games such as musical chairs and other fun activities, followed by trick-or-treating at campus residences. Overall, the storm facilitated another Linden Hill experience of community.
