On Saturday, September 10^th the freshman class arrived early for a special orientation as the in-coming student leaders. For the past three years Mr. McDaniel has invited the boys to his summer cottage on Cape Cod for a deep sea fishing adventure.

This year, Mr. Russell and Mr. JP Sanieski led our six returning freshman and one new student from Washington D.C. for an overnight trip to Wellfleet. On Sunday, under ideal weather conditions, the group spent four hours, successfully fishing and catching around nineteen fish! Joe Bean was the winner of the trip and caught the largest fish, a thirty-five inch Blue Fish. The rest of the school eagerly waits to taste the catch at our next meal.
