With today’s weather of Mid 60’s and sun  the boys woke up to the announcement that Mr. McDaniel CANCELLED classes and the entire school (all 32 boys and faculty) will hike up to the top of Mt. Monadnock.  Mt. Monadnock is often promoted as the most hiked mountain in the United States as well as the second most hiked mountain in the world, with 125,000 hikers yearly, behind Mount Fuji in Japan, with about 200,000 yearly hikers.  The boys will walk up in small groups today with a teacher, enjoy lunch on the top and head back down.  After returning to campus resting and showering, the boys will enjoy a nice Jousting Tournament in the gym.  Click here for pictures.
