| Linden Hill Summer Has Begun! |
|
The Linden Hill Summer Program opened with 44 students from around the world and our own backyard! With 35 boarders and 9 day students there is a wonderful diversity among the participants. Students come from as far away as Japan and as close as LHS itself! Activities are well underway with a very prepared and sensitive counseling staff as well as an experienced morning faculty. The first weekend's activities took students to 202 Sports in nearby Orange, MA for minitaure golf, go-carts, batting cages and the driving range. Fireworks in Greenfield, MA and camping in Bernardston, MA rounded out Friday nights activities. Saturday involved a student favorite activity: Manhunt. Over 6 rounds were played! The afternoon offered an opportunity to rollerskate and then go out to dinner and pick up a few supplies at a small local mall. Sunday was a scorcher so local Lake Wyola afforded students a chance to relax, take a swim,c onstruct sand creations, and play some games in the park before heading to the movies to view The Last Airbender. The first full week of classes began and weekly afternoon activities too! Students will participate in archery, soccer, fishing, soap making, helping at the farm, arts and crafts and much more! Look for more info to come and for pictures in our photo gallery from all of the fantastic activities and events!
