As Linden Hill strives to teach the whole individual, we emphasize a healthy mind and body. Intertwined and codependent on each other, a balance in ourselves and in our lifestyles is central to successful students and a happy and strong community.
The Health and Wellness Committee is spearheaded by the school nurse and influences all facets of life at Linden Hill: Academic, Residential, Athletics, Nutrition, and Weekend Activities to insure the health and safety of the community.
Students participate in a mandatory health seminar where they learn about nutrition, hygiene, anatomy and the physiology of the reproductive system, and sex education.
The nurse is on campus five days a week and on-call all evenings and weekends. Training in first-aid, CPR, and dispensing medication is given to faculty and staff. The School also maintains an infirmary and a school physician.

Often, it is here at Linden Hill that a boy puts on a uniform and becomes part of a team for the first time. It is my part to ensure that they all have a great time when it comes to games. We might not be the best or the biggest but as long as we are learning and having fun, we achieve our goal. I start every practice and game with "What are we going to do today?" The boys answer, “FUN!” At the end of a game or practice, I ask, "What did we do today?" They answer, “We had fun!”
